The new TV that LG came up with claims to be the world’s biggest of its kind. Granted, at 84 inches in diagonal, there may be little to no exaggeration within that statement. It is the actual ‘kind,’ however, that truly makes the monster an awe-inspiring presence. The 84 incher merges two top-tier capabilities to the point where it makes Full HD 1080p resolutions look insignificant.    One of the main assets of the TV is its UHD (Ultra-high definition) resolution of no less than 3840 x 2160 pixels. This specification is quite pertinent, considering that 1080p resolution is not sharp enough for such a large format. What is more interesting is that LG successfully enabled this resolution while also providing 3D. Indeed, the set is actually an immense 3DTV. One can only imagine how high a bank account is required to purchase this product.
    During SID 2010, LG Display will also operate a separate ‘IPS Lounge’ within Washington State Convention Center to introduce LED IPS technology and conduct marketing activities to promote the advantages of panels that utilize IPS technology, inluding a comparison of IPS and TN monitors, and a display of IPS products.
